Biography:
Dinesh P Mital, Ph.D. is currently Professor in Health Informatics at School of Health Professions at Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ Campus.  He received the Bachelor of Engineering degree, in Electrical Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, in 1968, and    M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1970 and 1974 respectively. Prior to joining the Biomedical Informatics program at UMDNJ-SHRP in August 1999, he worked in the Department of Electrical and Communications Engineering, University of Roorkee, Roorkee, India. In July 1983, he joined the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as a senior lecturer. Subsequently served as chair and Professor, Department of Instrumentation and Control and Information Engineering (1988-1998).

He is a very well-known   expert in the areas of image processing and artificial neural network-based applications. His research work has been published in leading reviewed research journals. He has published monograms, book chapters, edited books, published over 150 journal papers and presented over 200 papers at international conferences. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of four international journals in the Health Informatics area. Currently, he has been full professor in the School of Health Professions, Department of Health Informatics, Rutgers University (2007- current). He has been invited in many international conferences to deliver invited papers, Keynote addresses, and as a member of international advisory committees.

Biography:
Dr. Giuseppe Lanza was born in Catania Italy in 1982. He received his MD from the university of Catania, and hold PhD in “Basic and applied biomedical sciences” University of Catania, Catania Italy. Currently he was an Associate Professor, Chief Research Unit, Consultant Neurologist University of Catania, Italy. From 2013 TO 2018, and joined as Consultant Neurologist Oasi Research Institute – IRCCS Troina Italy, From 2015 to 2018 he taught Neurology at the University of Enna Italy. He has authored approximately 200 publications in internationally-indexed peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences or Meetings, and he currently serve as Editor and invited Reviewer of several international Journals. More recently, he has obtained the Master of Science in Clinical Research, the qualification as Full Professor procedure for the Italian University Professor recruiting, based on rigorous scientific qualification criteria, and an international award for translational research in sleep medicine

Adrian David Cheok

Affiliation: Professor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Director of the Imagineering Institute, Malaysia

Research Interests: Artificial Intelligence, Human–Computer Interaction, Mixed Reality, Multisensory Communication, Emotional Computing, Robotics, and Edutainment Technologies.

Biography:
Dr. Adrian David Cheok AM FIET FIEAust FRSA is a Full Professor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and Director of the Imagineering Institute, Malaysia. A pioneer in mixed reality and multisensory communication, he has held academic positions at Keio University, University of London, and the National University of Singapore. Recognized among the world’s top innovators, he is a Fellow of multiple global institutions and a Member of Sigma Xi USA. His research in AI, human–computer interaction, and immersive technology has led to over $130M in funded projects and numerous international awards. Dr. Cheok’s visionary work continues to bridge technology, creativity, and human experience.

Dr. Eugenio Vocaturo

Affiliation: NANOTEC – National Research Council, Rende (CS), Italy

Research Interests: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable AI (XAI), Multiple Instance Learning (MIL), Computer Vision, and Mathematical Optimization, with a particular focus on applications in biomedicine, agritech, digital heritage, and public health.

Biography:
Dr. Eugenio Vocaturo is a Researcher at the Institute of Nanotechnology, National Research Council of Italy (CNR–Nanotec), where he leads the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and coordinates research on advanced computational models for image, signal, and data analysis. He holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Calabria.
With extensive experience in academia and industry, Dr. Vocaturo’s research focuses on AI, Machine Learning, Explainable AI, Computer Vision, and Optimization, with applications in biomedicine, agritech, digital heritage, and public health. He has authored over 100 scientific publications, developed impactful intelligent systems such as Covid Scanner and MaizeNet, and organizes international AI workshops within IEEE conferences. Recognized for his interdisciplinary contributions, Dr. Vocaturo is a member of IEEE, AIXIA, SIBIM, and HL7 Italy.

Dr. Ali Zeeshan

Affiliation: Department of Information Management, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Douliou, Yunlin, Taiwan, R.O.C.

Research Interests: Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Fuzzy Sets, Soft Sets, Rough Sets, Decision Making, Algebraic Structures, and Data Science Applications in Medicine.

Biography:
Dr. Ali Zeeshan is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Department of Information Management, and Founder of SIGMA-FN Lab, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. His expertise spans fuzzy logic, machine learning, soft computing, and applied mathematics, with over 260 publications, 5300+ citations, and recognition as one of the world’s top 2% scientists (Stanford & Scopus, 2021–2025). His background in AI-driven mathematical modeling and decision-making systems makes him a strong contributor to the journal’s mission of advancing artificial intelligence applications in science and healthcare.

Dr Xiaochun Cheng

Affiliation: Department of Computer Science, Swansea University, United Kingdom

Research Interests: Information & Communication Technologies, Artificial Intelligence & Image Processing, Networking & Telecommunications

Biography:
Xiaochun Cheng won full scholarship for all his university education, received the BEng Degree in Computer Engineering with first class degree, PhD in Computer Science with distinction. One project was funded with 16 Million Euro budget. He contributed for five times best conference paper awards so far. 6 his papers were in the top 1% of the academic field by Data from Essential Science Indicators. He won 3 times national competitions. He won national award for research. Two solutions were adopted nationally. He serves 7 IEEE Technical Committees and 3 BCS Specialist Groups. He has been a Senior Member of IEEE. He currently works at Swansea University, UK.
