Instructions to Authors
The Virosa Journal of AI in Science and Healthcare (VJASH) is committed to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, science, and healthcare. We welcome submissions from researchers, practitioners, and innovators worldwide.
To ensure smooth processing of manuscripts and maintain international publishing standards, authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below.
1. Scope of the Journal
VJASH publishes original contributions in areas including (but not limited to):

2. Manuscript Categories
Authors may submit manuscripts in the following categories:

Original Research Articles: Full-length papers reporting novel research results (3,000–7,000 words).

Review Articles: Comprehensive, critical overviews of specific topics (5,000–10,000 words).
-
Case Studies/Reports: Real-world applications, patient studies, or technology implementations (2,000–4,000 words).
-
Short Communications/Technical Notes: Concise reports of preliminary findings (1,500–3,000 words).
-
Editorials & Commentaries: Perspective pieces (by invitation).
3. General Submission Guidelines

Language: All manuscripts must be submitted in English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to seek professional language editing.

File Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format. PDF is not accepted at initial submission.
-
Originality: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
-
Plagiarism Check: All submissions undergo plagiarism screening. Manuscripts with >15% similarity index (excluding references) may be rejected.

Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the work. Ghost or honorary authorship is prohibited.
4. Manuscript Preparation
4.1 Title Page
Include:

Title of the article (concise, informative, ≤20 words).

Full names of all authors.
-
Institutional affiliations with complete addresses.
-
ORCID iDs (where available).
-
Corresponding author’s full name, postal address, telephone number, and email.
4.2 Abstract & Keywords
-
Abstract: 150–250 words, structured into Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
-
Keywords: 4–6 keywords, separated by semicolons, in lowercase (except proper nouns).
4.3 Main Text
Organize into the following sections:

Introduction: Brief background, rationale, and research objectives.
-
Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology, study design, data sources, and ethical approvals.
-
Results: Clear presentation of findings with appropriate figures/tables.
-
Discussion: Interpretation of results, comparison with existing literature, limitations, and implications.
-
Conclusion: Concise summary of the main findings and their significance.
4.4 Figures & Tables

Number consecutively (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.).
-
Provide high-resolution images (≥300 dpi, JPG/PNG/TIFF).
-
Tables should be editable (not images).
-
Captions must be self-explanatory.
4.5 References

Use APA 7th edition or Vancouver style consistently.

Include DOI or URL when available.

5. Ethical Considerations

Human/Animal Research: Must state approval by an appropriate ethics committee.
-
Informed Consent: Required for studies involving human participants.
-
Conflict of Interest: All authors must declare any financial or non-financial conflicts.

Research Integrity: Misconduct such as data fabrication, plagiarism, or duplicate submission will result in rejection and reporting to institutions.

7. Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
-
Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

Reviewers’ comments are shared with authors for revision.

Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief.
8. Article Processing Charges (APC)
To maintain high-quality editorial and publishing standards, VJASH does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) or any Submission Charges.
9. Copyright & Licensing

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.

Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right of first publication.
-
Readers may freely copy, distribute, and adapt articles with proper citation.
10. Reviewer Suggestions
Authors may suggest up to 3 potential reviewers (include name, affiliation, and email). The editorial board reserves the right to select reviewers independently.
11. Checklist Before Submission
✔ Manuscript prepared in Word format.
✔ Title page complete with author details.
✔ Abstract structured and within word limit.
✔ References formatted consistently.
✔ Figures and tables properly labeled.
✔ Ethics approval and consent statements included.
